I’m going to make a final point about #Caryl and their relationship before I’m finished analyzing this mess of a show. If Daryl & Antonio were about to be bitten, Carol would save Daryl. If Carol & Isabelle had been about to be bitten, Daryl would have saved Carol. 1/3 #TWD
My two cents on the Caryl discourse is that if u are gonna write scenes of other characters confusing them for being each other’s s/o or a married couple then u dont get to blame people for shipping them
@LProductionsQ So Rick and Michonne are weaker bc their friendship turned into a relationship? Glenn and Maggie too? I’m not saying they have to be romantic, I’m just saying they should quit forcing them into relationships, bc no “partner” would ever accept being put 2nd to their best friend.

Regardless of whether or not the feelings are acknowledged, they are not platonic and forcing any other romantic relationship upon them will always be exactly that, FORCED. No romantic relationship can survive one party that will always choose another person. Hope this helps xx
They would make this choice every-time, and you cannot convince me otherwise. The only exception would be if the choice was between them and any of their children. 2/3
@RachieSSays@WalkingDead_AMC No it’s not. It’s from nycc 2026, which was a few days ago. And no, I don’t think they would spoil it, but I also don’t expect to be belittled and called “aggressive” for being a shipper, which is exactly what NR did if you read this whole interview. https://t.co/2SWrzVnoFi
@paigelybenson@youmakethelight I understand seeing them as platonic, and there’s nothing wrong with that. I just don’t think it’s accurate to say there was never any subtext. NR said Daryl “got nervous and wimped out” It’s a little unnecessary to comment on someone else’s post that clearly see them that way.
@paigelybenson@TheBestballGuy_@youmakethelight I mean if you consider teasing your brother/sister about if they want to screw around together as normal sibling behavior, then yeah, sure, I guess that’s what they are.
