Fauci's private diary. March 2020.
March 21 — "deaths 9800":
"Big front page article about me appeared in the Washington Post. Very flattering."
"my national and international fame is explosive and really unimaginable"
"It is not hyperbole to say that today I am the most famous and talked about person in the country and one of the most recognizable persons in the world."
March 22 — "Cases continue to soar. 30,000 in USA with 400 deaths":
"Press is going wild with me."
"Front page in Washington Post yesterday and Op Ed by Maureen Dowd in NY Times today about me."
"Profile by Peter Nicholas on me in The Atlantic."
He tracked the body count and his press clippings on the same page.
The time has come.
I'm taking an extended break from this site. Nothing specific has happened lately to prompt this. Honestly...I'm just tired.
I need the mental detox. It's the same thing every day. The same "breaking" posts. The same accounts making the same arguments. The same lame engagement farming. The same bots in my replies. The same people applying their purity tests depending on what politician they love.
It's all so stale and draining, and despite what some have assumed, this site is not how I make a living. Will I be back? I'm sure I'll post again at some point, but I'm going to take a while and then play things by ear. Maybe the motivation and desire will rekindle a bit.
Regardless, I'd encourage everyone to take a step back and consider that what some Washington politician does or whether some movie is woke is not that important in the grand scheme of things. Those things aren't going to bring you fulfillment in life.
Spend time with your family. Go to church and build a real relationship with God. Climb a mountain and watch the sunset. Go fishing.
The only thing you can't get back is time, and things aren't nearly as bad as the political bubble would have you believe. Take some time and enjoy life a little.

Very smart strategically of Jay Jones to let his election focus on issues like him wanting to kill the children of his opponents so there was less attention on the fact that he’s clearly incompetent and a terrible lawyer.
SEL kills children. The is no such thing as “mental health” in K-12 schools, it’s a pipeline to suicide, drug addiction as well as access to harmful SSRIs.
Run don’t walk away from public education.
It really is remarkable how Ketanji Brown Jackson votes exclusively based on her political ideology with zero concern whatsoever for interpreting the laws and ruling on that basis. There’s no difference between having her or a random left wing influencer on the Supreme Court.
"The map itself is notably not included in any of the mailers, nor in any of the television ads, nor is it even displayed in polling places. That should be enough to indicate how much it resembles the scrawls of an irate toddler"

Today, we’re remembering and honoring the lives of the 32 Hokies who were tragically taken from their loved ones and the Virginia Tech community on April 16, 2007.
On this 2026 Day of Remembrance, we honor the potential they carried and the lasting impact they have. 🧡
