@16thSMA Yes it is, Sergeant Major. I’m and SGT/P with 12 years of service and they just removed all SSG slots for my language. We shouldn’t be promoted based on language considering I actively used my language 2 weeks in total outside of language training/DLPT in my career.

@16thSMA What about the fact that single parents/dual military are given 30 days upon PCSing to name someone they trust in the area to look after their kid. If not, they lose their CDC slot and face chapter? Move to a new state and within days be expected to trust someone that much?

@16thSMA People should be terrified to make a single misstep in regards to SHARP. You’re pretty much protected unless you actually put hands on someone. And even that, is a messy process.

@16thSMA The issue with SHARP is the facade of “zero tolerance”. How many are being punished for a single off-color joke? Actually, you’re free to say as much of them as you want, as long as nobody is offended. True zero tolerance would push anyone out for even hinting at innuendos.

@K_renee_Wolfe This isn’t necessarily true from what I’ve seen. It seems to be dependent on the base. I know both Fort Jackson and Fort Sill lack men’s AGSUs but tend to have a decent stock of female ones.
