CODESPECT completed a security review of Swell's eth-staking-deposit-bot, the CLI tool operators use to deposit node-operator validators for both swETH and rswETH.

No Critical issues were found.

The Swell team resolved ten of the twelve findings promptly, including the High and one Medium, and provided clear rationale for the two items they chose to accept.

The following chains will no longer support rsETH bridging after June 15:

Optimism, Manta, Mode, Blast, Scroll, X Layer, zkSync, Zircuit, Swellchain, Hemi, Berachain, Sonic, HyperEVM, Unichain, TAC, Avalanche, Plasma Stable, MegaETH, Monad, Movement.

If you hold rsETH on any of these chains, you have until June 15 to bridge back to the Ethereum mainnet.

Post-deadline recovery is possible for a fee of 100 USDC per address. The exact process will be communicated closer to June 15.
