It’s a bit brutal but BTC is probably going to be the big winner of the AI revolution. I don’t think it will suffer any hacks, the scripting language formal verification is very advanced and work in formalizing the protocol too. Nodes running on different hardware make it very robust against hardware vulnerabilities, and their sources are probably one of the most audited code in the world. Combine that with self sovereignty which protects against political backslash from K shaped economy and acceleration of margins flowing to capital, I don’t see much else. To be honest this is my macro view but it’s a pretty grim one.
i gotta say that while crypto feels relatively boring outside of the gacha games and perps rn, I've never seen cooler stuff being built in the worlds of hard science / eng
AI drug discovery, alchemy, genetically engineered dogs, weather control...what a time to be alive

If you’re unc you may have played a game called guild wars
IMO they had one of the best PvP formats of all time - heroes ascent
8v8 death match. Usually 5 DPS + 3 healers, only 8 abilities max per hero
Hopping into vent was absolutely necessary. Eight sweaty men max tryhardingg in a vent server
Team comps were essential. You couldn’t roll random comps and succeed. They were highly optimized and synergies with each person having a specific role
There were “spike comps”, say 5 rangers or 5 mages. The goal was to coordinate your attacks to land on the same second so the opposing team couldn’t heal the burst. The leader would ping a target and countdown “3,2,1” on vent to hopefully nuke him down
Absolute peak gaming. No such game has anything remotely similar to this PvP format atm
WoW Forever looks great, but I worry they won’t be able to authentically capture what it was like to have your 40-year-old guild leader scream at you over Ventrilo about the secret vitamins they put in cigarettes that the government hides knowledge of. I’ll roll Druid though
