Just finished watching The Ten Commandments (1956), had no idea God was a schizo tornado of fire why he make all those people walk for so long, kinda sus
I really loved the new Scary Movie *SPOILERS*, especially the scene where Charlie Kirk is almost shot but is saved by a weed smoking Jeffrey Epstein. The twist is the best part, that Scream Face is Erica Kirk, aka Marlon Wayans in white face ROFL
I like how Markiplier made himself and Iron Lung out to be some unique situation in which a YouTuber made a movie by themselves, and that Hollywood doesn't want to acknowledge it because it challenges their money-making enterprise.
Meanwhile:
The Boys ending was equal in quality to the majority of the show since season one, plagued by becoming what it seeked out to critique: a money making franchise squeezing out every last inch of it's popularity at the expense of good storytelling.
Did you really think The Boys was going to have the "Scorched Earth" fight the show has been alluding to up until now? They can barely produce adequate CGI for the show, and there was no way Amazon was going to fork up more dough for the final fight LOL
The Animal Farm movie masterfully reflects the original novella's themes surrounding corruption in revolutionary movements by attempting to be a revolutionary film against Hollywood and massively failing. (10/10, will be talking about on stream tomorrow) https://t.co/fuSk6D4Oo3
"The Oscars are too woke and unwatchable now!"
Conservatives... every... single... year...
Maybe actually take an interest in making genuine art instead of propaganda (as well as not being deranged lunatics) then you might be included!
(4) On top of being unrealistic, the characters often talk like they're in a health awareness ad. One nurse gets punched by an angry patient, and one characters like, "There is a national rise in violence against healthcare workers, what are we going to do!"... unironically
(1) The Pitt feels more like a sitcom than a realistic medical-drama. Love some of the acting, especially Noah Wyle , and the real-time nature of the show works perfectly.
(3) Example, when Langdon asks the anti-masks women whether she wants the surgeons who will operate on her to be wearing masks given her beliefs to prove his point that masks do work, an actual anti-mask person would be arrogant enough to go along with it!
(2) The writing is just way too corny, while trying to tackle difficult subject matter after difficult subject matter, often doing little or nothing to actually provide any nuanced commentary on the matter.
