Reading about Bangor University & debating societies & “lefty indoctrination”….
I feel I missed out going to Leeds University.
I don’t recall ever being indoctrinated and I don’t think anyone I knew was ever indoctrinated either.
Almost as if we could make our own minds up.

Just had a robin fly into the house, sit perched on the bannister for a few minutes, fly around the spare bedroom, pause just a foot away from me for a minute, and then fly out through a window I opened for it.
Was on phone to me dad & told him I’d had earache like no-one ever before, and that he wouldn’t know pain like it.
Then remembered he’s had several cancers, numerous treatments (including having half of his face “ripped off” to remove tumours), and was in hospital three months.
I see the official British flags have been hoisted (foisted) on to lampposts across parts of Nottinghamshire.
Plastic patriotism.
Plastic pride.
Plastic politicians.

After a service today, I went to the wake which was held at a care home where the gentleman lived.
