@hmpps #hampshireprobation @kimthorned Repeatedly changing appointments at short notice - to suit the offender manager-is not, in my view, setting a good example to those who need consistency and modelled boundaries, nor is it professional. Modelling is the greatest teacher!

@hmpps #hampshireprobation @MoJGovUK please stop changing clients around appointments to suit you then changing the rearrangement! You are working with vulnerable, chaotic and unsettled people. You should be modelling a secure and stable intervention.

@TheHowardLeague @HMIPrisonsnews While the prison crumbles physically and systematically the Governor saw fit to spend nearly £8000 of prison funds on a fish tank in the induction area. Confirmed within my FOI which was refused twice and accepted on the 3rd submission.

You need better quality interventions for those who offend as a result of alcohol or substance use. That means better quality services that offer better quality interventions delivered by qualified and skilled professionals. Current services including probation are quite simply not up to the job.
