Marvel Comics Presents had a lot of solo stories for him too.

He's also had a solo game on NES, SNES, PS3, and the X2 game was pretty much a Wolverine game.

@kabrutusdeid Franchises need to do these spin offs alongside the first reveal of the next main title so they come across as a "whet your appetite while we work on the larger next main entry."

Otherwise fans lose their shit as a betrayal of the franchise.

Only the most Puritan things in history could survive this approach.

Are the .hack anime more enjoyable if one plays the PS2 games first or are they so totally separate it doesnt matter?

I have the games and always debate if I want to do a play + watch combo.

@V3RYJOSH Log Horizone also excels in showing enough to say Shiroe is not the sole solution. He's weak on his own and even as the brilliant strategist, they show Minori is becoming skilled in the same way.

So there's enough there that Shrioe is our protagonist but not the "chosen one."

You have this high fantasy setting and more and more people make their glamor looking like their gonna hang out at the mall.

Hopefully the next expansion moves back toward fantasy and not modern day outfits.
