@jard_sard 100+ issues of a solo title, though he did have Jubilee as a sidekick a long time.
Marvel Comics Presents had a lot of solo stories for him too.
He's also had a solo game on NES, SNES, PS3, and the X2 game was pretty much a Wolverine game.
she’s been wolverine for almost a decade now 😭
the fact that she’s still being called x-23 when her name is laura and has mentioned she doesn’t want to be called that
FAKE COMICS FANS
@kabrutusdeid Franchises need to do these spin offs alongside the first reveal of the next main title so they come across as a "whet your appetite while we work on the larger next main entry."
Otherwise fans lose their shit as a betrayal of the franchise.
@InternetDog_@ChibiReviews This is the absolute lowest rationale to gauge media. You set up a theoretical strawman unrelated to the media, then use that strawman to argue the media shouldn't exist.
Only the most Puritan things in history could survive this approach.
@FiadhBaikal The beard would be a point in favor of his argument as it's a natural occurrence.
That said, I think he's making a silly argument. Fortunately he put it on X, the home of silly arguments.
@Bawanga@V3RYJOSH Question/opinion if you have one:
Are the .hack anime more enjoyable if one plays the PS2 games first or are they so totally separate it doesnt matter?
I have the games and always debate if I want to do a play + watch combo.
@V3RYJOSH Log Horizone also excels in showing enough to say Shiroe is not the sole solution. He's weak on his own and even as the brilliant strategist, they show Minori is becoming skilled in the same way.
So there's enough there that Shrioe is our protagonist but not the "chosen one."
@Eugene43708771@RichardOcelot I'm not saying they're the same. I'm saying an actor can do A LOT with voice and body language alone to express nuance and emotional range.
@WorkElizab I think people like you love posting these ridiculous ones claiming 40% is bare minimum so you get engagement and a few Elon bucks with your checkmark instead of working as hard as a restaurant server.
@FilmBuffRich@ManaByte Similar to Dark Horse "The Star Wars" that adapted his early drafts it would be cool to see a comic adaptation of what Lucas had that they threw out to see what survived to final product and what didn't.
@Xepahr I just don't get why people would want to enter another world and say "yes, I want to dress like it's a regular day in the real world."
They could go outside. Go to a mall. You'll see real people in jeans & t-shirts. Why dress like that in a fantasy world? 🤷🏻♂️
@Xepahr It drives me nuts as well.
You have this high fantasy setting and more and more people make their glamor looking like their gonna hang out at the mall.
Hopefully the next expansion moves back toward fantasy and not modern day outfits.
