@JoelWBerry@megbasham I’m become convinced that most of these cases they cite are really just instances of doctors using abortion bans as an excuse to try and avoid a malpractice suit or mitigate disciplinary action by a board.
@imbrettcooper Meh. News outlets are terrible about sensationalizing trains stuck on the lift hill. Would it be fun? No. Is it dangerous? Also no. Odds of getting stuck are very low. Odds of actually getting hurt on a well maintained and operated ride are even more minuscule.
@SmugEnglishman First morning in Scotland a few years back, we came down to breakfast and the news station was talking about how to sleep in a “heat wave”. The high was in the mid 80’s.
@alisa_childers@The_real_annek Sheila mostly seems interested in disparaging/misquoting other authors and promoting her survey results. While she makes some valid points, she completely lost me when she used an example of a man at a topless beach (by choice) as a positive example of not objectifying women.
@Geiger_Capital I detest ballot measures. They’re very often poorly summarized on the ballot (putting it kindly) and the results usually depend on people’s ignorance or base desires.
@alisa_childers I haven’t spent much time reading her books, but the reading between the lines, putting words in others mouths, and (I’ll say it) defamation of other Christian authors she disagrees with certainly makes her appear extremely biased and hyper fixated.
Hey, @RegalMovies! Can y’all do a better job of letting people with tickets know when you’re open? I had tickets for this afternoon, but haven’t heard whether my theater is open with the winter storm. Finally had to request a refund after I called 4 times with no answer.
