Fantastic effort from @FreeStyle_SC swimmers last night. The theme was commitment - not saving yourself for the ‘tough’ sprint you might have to do in 5 mins but focused and committed to “the next one”.

So Britain finishes with 8 medals in the pool (4G 3S 1B) and it’s the most successful swimming Olympics ever for #TeamGB - fantastic!

What a swim @cassiewild2 - SILVER medal in 200m backstroke and a Scottish Record in 2:07.74. Superb time.
Shout out too to @katieshanahan_, she finishes her first senior international final in 6th place smashing her PB yet again-2:09.90.

Also, 72% ‘PB rate’ isn’t necessarily ‘success’; I’ve seen many swimmers PB with very undesirable technique - which isn’t the right direction to go in.
