After our first week of sessions, here is our final teacher introduction for just now! Abbi has an incredible patience and enthusiasm when it comes to teaching 🏊‍♂️

Experience - 1 year as a qualified teacher with many years previous volunteering with her local swimming club!

It was incredible to see so many people have the chance to get in the water and enjoy themselves! We can’t wait for our next session 🏊‍♂️

Experience - Mairi has swam for over 26 years and became a teacher 15 years ago.

Fun fact - Mairi lived in Kenya for 3 months, and worked in a disabled unit that she helped raise money to build 🇰🇪

The next teacher joining our team is Mairi! Mairi has an incredible background in working with children and adults. From volunteering in different youth groups to working with the community in a range of settings, it is great to have Mairi as part of the team! 👏

Fun fact - Oliver helps teach the National Choir of Scotland 🎤

Up next is Oliver! Oliver has volunteered in schools and is currently studying music, giving him a greater understanding of teaching methods 👨‍🏫

Experience - Oliver started swimming at 3 years old! Oliver became a teacher 5 years ago, starting within an ASN swim group ❤️

Fun fact - Aidan plays the bagpipes and has competed in the World Pipe Band Championships! 🪈

The up is Aidan! Aidan has a degree in Sport & Exercise Science allowing him to have a deeper insight and understanding of how swimmers can develop. 🎓

Experience - Aidan became a swimming teacher 5 years ago starting out helping within a local ASN swim group.

Fun Fact - Jenny didn’t start learning to swim until she was 12 years old as she was afraid of the water! 💧

Experience - Jenny has 9+ Years of experience in swim teaching and prior to this volunteered since she was 14. Jenny used to work as a Primary School Teacher before moving into her current role as a Care Manager for people with Learning Disabilities

Fun fact/ achievement - Amy has taken elephants swimming before during a trip to Thailand 🐘 Amy was also one of the coaches at the IPC World Championships in 2015 🏊‍♀️

Amy joins the team with lots of experience and knowledge in a multiple ASN settings. 🙌

Experience - Amy has over 12 years of experience as a swimming teacher and she currently works as a residential care worker at a school for people with sight loss 💙

He started getting involved in teaching/coaching over 10 years ago. Predominantly in para swimming, which has seen him selected for the British Para Coaching Programme.

Euan created SwimClusion to provide teaching/coaching for anybody wanting to swim regardless of their ability!
