CLUB STATEMENT: Swinburne FC can confirm that its Reserves team has elected to forfeit its scheduled fixture against Old Scotch SC on Sunday, 12 June, due to a scheduling conflict with Australiaโs opening FIFA World Cup fixture against Tรผrkiye.
โWhile we acknowledge that fixture scheduling is a complex undertaking, we remain steadfast in our belief that no football should be played at the same time as the Socceroos at a FIFA World Cup. Some things are just simply bigger than the three points.โ
