Yesterday was our best ever Monday, thanks to the dedication of our staff and volunteers, and a wonderful day of happy customers. A huge well done to the 500 @CRUKShops that reopened. Covid-19 has slowed us down but we will never stop. Together we will still beat cancer 💪🎉👜
In 1922, scientists entered a ward of dying children, all in comatose diabetic ketoacidosis, and injected a new drug (insulin) into them as families were already beginning to grieve. Before they had injected the last person on the ward, the first woke up.

Following updates from the UK governments yesterday, all our shops apart from Guernsey are closed until further notice. Whilst closed, please do not leave donations outside our shops - keep them stored safely at home for when we reopen. (1/2)
My reflections on 2020: While I'm glad to leave this year behind we should recognise how much progress our incredible research community, staff & volunteers still made, despite the challenges. I’m optimistic for 2021 thanks to the strength of our community https://t.co/MDzJaHzAR2
Despite 2020, there has still been progress and achievements in research this year. This wouldn’t have been possible without our supporters and our ambition to beat cancer remains stronger than ever. See our top stories https://t.co/OPgyV4jxa5
