I write Heartstopper fanfic on AO3. I am a queer elder (40+). A trauma survivor. I’m here to lift up those like me. All of us are born with intrinsic worth.
Superman is about immigration. X-Men is about diversity and civil rights. Star Wars is about fighting facism. Star Trek is about equality. If you enjoy these fandoms you are inherently reading progressive stories.
The good guys always fight nazis and billionaire villians.
you don't fucking need chatGPT. you just need to know how to look up synonyms and correct words/phrases. it's never too late to re-teach yourself how to write. use your your brain. use the internet (the parts that don't steal/ravage the earth). believe in yourself. grow up
All of the reporting on this study is a mess. It was 1,500 participants aged 10 to 24. It asked 13-24 year olds about sex in movies. It asked 10-13 year olds about "romance". Also, is this even that shocking. I remember being very bored by romance in movies when I was a teenager!
Sorry that you think my fictional ship is illegal. I actually consulted a fictional lawyer about it and he had a talk with a fictional cop about the fictional laws and then they both looked at me, and very seriously said "we'll allow it because it's hot." Sorry again.

The parts of yourself you hate, the parts that frustrate you, the parts you wish you could unmake,
They all love you so fucking much and have tried so fucking hard to do what’s best for you
i need a lot of people to realize that they don't actually *have to* be in fandom if they hate it so much. like if you hate the harmless ways people have fun in fandoms so much then you can just leave. no one's forcing you to be there
