@DandMussoccer I think it would be a mistake not to bring him. Gio is one of our few players who can provide a moment of brilliance and in a WC, guys like that can prove crucial
@11Yanks Not that Tessmann is a better player than Johnny by any means, but do you think he’d be better suited to pair with Tyler than Johnny? I ask bc I like Tessmanns passing ability and I think he could sit back and support the defense so Tyler can go hunt and be a destroyer
@SbondyNBA Fully understand that perspective. For me, I celebrate his fandom and his loyalty to the city if not the franchise. I certainly do not glorify his Knicks career even if he was the “star” during some of my formative years as a fan
@BearsPurgatory I would be very okay with this. Personally, I’d take off Johnny put Wes in his spot and Tillman in Wes’ spot. If Freeman is playing for Villarreal I’d play him over McKenzie but I see the argument for both.
@chrisras1980@MLSTransfers I think he’s being unfairly grouped with Berhalter, who I thought was decent in the first half but dreadful in the second half
@11Yanks 1. I thought Freeman looked good too. That’s probably my preferred back 3 at this point
2. I think Tyler Adams’ absence can’t be overstated
3. I enjoyed Gio’s cameo tn
@11Yanks@Jatochhhhhhhhh FWIW I agree with your point. Can only develop so much in training and on the bench. Needs first team minutes to reach his potential
