All my Jos people farm this in backyards 3 times yearly.

Lagos/Abuja traders buy cheap, sell for 3x more profits than even the states largest farmers.

In summary:
Yes we need security but that can be achieved easily when everyone has a job, is healthy and has an enabling environment for the businesses most are engaged in.

These benefits the state would realise in 4 years and the possibilities from there on, are limitless.

Getting people to subscribe for home services where the trash is picked up by Government officials

Provide access to government-owned dump sites for free

Fining violators

Recycling organic waste for renewable energy and non-decomposables for reuse (e.g plastic bottles).

The waste management sector and it's underestimated potential to boost tourism, health; and massively increase employment opportunities.

Now, plateau State has potential to export poultry products, and potatoes to neighbouring states and even internationally with a system that works and consistency. Not too many states around Nigeria can compete. (3/3)

When you have government-owned farms (poultry, ranches, other livestock), slaughter houses, marketplaces..., all in ONE facility; it'll be easier to monitor prices and as a result encourage small to midscale farmers to be invest more.

@nentawe1 I feel the States next government should prioritise efficient waste management systems, industrialise poultry, potato farming and other forms of agriculture to facilitate medium to small scale farmers contribution to state revenue. The keyword is "industrialise". (1/3)
