You’re right, Massimo. I checked again. X’s native bold and italic formatting is tied to longer posts for Premium subscribers. It doesn’t appear to work like a regular text editor anymore.

The formatting controls may also be tucked behind the Aa option in the composer. Looks like X has made something simple unnecessarily complicated!😐
