@WolvesXWrld If they could trade Josh Green who is an expiring contract for a decent PF role player I think they’re fine. Herb Jones matches his contract.
@hoopshype Its a great game but some of the salaries are ridiculous. Nothing should eclipse current numbers especially when the salary cap is less than 1/2 of where the league currently is.
@WolvesWired They need guys on the vet minimum. Otherwise it will require dumping Green or Donte to sign someone in the 10-15m range like Rui or Kuminga.
@WolvesGotNext Im devastated by this…
Julius - 33.3m
Naz - 23.3m
2033 first
three first pick swaps (2028, 2029, 2030)
three second-round picks (2029, 2032, 2033)
Josh Green - 14.7m
Lamelo - 40.7m
———————-
Jaylen -57m
PG - 54m
2028 first
2031 unprotected first
2028 second
2030 second
@vikingzfanpage What about the fact that Naz Reid + Julius and a haul of picks couldn’t bring Jaylen Brown to Minnesota. Imagine Ayo Ant Jaylen Jaden and Gobert best defense in the league!
@_MNMuse How about the Wolves?! Naz+Julius money lined up perfectly and the picks were pretty similar. Who would you rather have Lamelo Ball or former finals MVP Jaylen Brown??
@JaceFrederick@DaneMooreNBA There is a lot of frustration today bc of the Julius trade. Getting 0 return is a giant blow especially if you were not getting Giannis. What does a trade for Jaylen Brown look like??
@Wolvesmuse Stop reaching for ridiculous moves. Look at the Knicks. Keep the continuity. The only player that should be up for trade considerations is Julius. The core of Ant Jaden Naz and Gobert has 7 playoff series wins.
@Wolvesmuse I would rather keep Rudy but his trade value will never be higher. Plenty of undersized teams who will be looking to bulk up. Randle would probably be a deadline move if anything.
@DaneMooreNBA I think one answer to your question is Wemby surrounded by elite perimeter defenders. I think another is no Donte who took 8 threes a game in the regular season. Interesting that Game 1 & 4 were the lowest volume but resulted in wins. Attack the basket regardless of Wemby
@ontheprowl_MN Biggest problem in my opinion is they stopped attacking the basket. Look at the drop off for paint points in Games 1-4 vs 2,3 & 5. Wemby had 12 blocks in Game 1. Keys to success-get 50 points in the paint and make the Spurs foul.
