I had to private some of my games so my Itch page wouldn't be restricted in the UK. It might be a foolish time to be making ABIDE, a game that goes for the jugular in terms of extreme themes. Foolish time but indisputably the right time.
I've never been afraid of contentious themes. This game is something else though. I think the abject can be meaningful. Entertainment should be allowed to go horrifying places.

I loved Cape Hideous. So alive, so full of stuff! So effortless. So short! So many nicely rendered sea creatures. My kind of game

animated NPCs to stare at, strange rooms to stand around in, seahorses, pixelated planks of wood. what more could you want from a video game? steam link: https://t.co/MMrp9I8WaB

happy to announce that my extremely normal gardening game 'Grunn' will release on October 4th!! ✂️🌱🪦
been working on it for almost 2 years and can't wait for y'all to dig into it really soon!
there's even a mechanic where you can annoy a parrot in my game + hand crafted parrot physics. how could you not want to wishlist! https://t.co/MMrp9I9u09
I've always believed you should make art that someone is going to *love* instead of trying to be mildly pleasant and/or inoffensive. Double down on what you're passionate about. This is clearly a game where that happened! https://t.co/qMRSTWM5Ry
Self deprecation aside, I do believe these games offer interesting storytelling that you can’t find elsewhere. Can’t guarantee you’ll like it, but they are unique experiences.
