@boxingfan7891 I wasn’t able to dive deep enough into the match checks in the time I had. I fully intend to in the beta.

The base rush feels about the same as 26. I wouldn‘t want it any better tbh. Though, It’s hard to give an accurate estimate without hundreds of reps.

M21 introduced zone drops*

🚨 Custom Adjustments just changed football gaming forever.

This goes without saying, but the #Madden27 and #CollegeFootball27 custom adjustment feature is right up there with Switch Stick in terms of game-changing additions.

M20 introduced Zone Drops.
M25 introduced Switch Stick.
M27 introduces Custom Adjustments.

If you’re unfamiliar with it, Custom Adjustments allow you to save your defensive coverage shells (in the main menu) and instantly apply them in-game with a single button press.

No longer will creators get comments saying, “Too many adjustments. I’ll never get this off.”

Playing 500 H2H games will matter less from a skill gap perspective than simply having the right macros.

Players who want to learn and put in the extra effort will be rewarded, but the innate barrier to entry, that came with hundreds of hours of quick adjusting, is gone.

The era of quick hike and pray may very well be over. ⏱️

I’m BEYOND excited for this change, and I genuinely believe it’s one of the most important additions we’ve seen in years. 🤝

This is the Most Versatile Defense in Madden 26 🤯🔥

33 Cub does way more than just send heat.

The hidden value is how well the safety hook curls play when you shade outside.

When you shade outside, your hooks widen out and do a much better job taking away corner routes, zigs, out routes, and other quick sideline throws.

So, before you even start blitzing, you already have coverage that helps defend what most people want to throw against pressure.

Then you can mix in the heat.

The DT Loop Setup 🧩
1️⃣ Turn OLB Flip Package ON and Auto Flip ON
2️⃣ Call Cover 3 Buzz and select the left exit stunt from the stunt menu
3️⃣ Spy the right-of-screen DE and man up the blitzing linebacker
✅ Result: Your DT will either get an easy 1-on-1 insta-shed or loop clean around the edge.

User Blitzing ⚡
1️⃣ Shade outside, spread your D-line, and crash toward the strong side
2️⃣ Contain, then blitz your user and hover directly over the DT
3️⃣ User lock: Left on D-pad + R1/RB
4️⃣ Hold the left stick in the direction you are blitzing
✅ Result: You can come in completely clean for an instant sack.

That combination is what makes 33 Cub so hard to deal with.

You can sit back with widened hook curls, create passive pressure with the stunt, or send a user blitz that screams off the line.

This is the BEST Shed Defense in Madden 26 🤯🔥

If you’re not using this right now, you’re probably giving your opponent way too much time in the pocket.

This is one of the only defenses in the game that can create instant interior sheds consistently.

And even top pros are struggling to block it.

Why it works:
The key is the 4 Defensive End package in Nickel Double Mug.

Normally, when you move defensive ends inside to defensive tackle, they get hit with performance nerfs.

But with this package, you can get elite edge rushers inside without the same drop-off.

So if those players have high enough overalls or pass-rush abilities like Double or Nothing or Interior Threat, they can shed instantly and get to the QB before the main routes even develop.

Setup:
1️⃣ Turn Auto Flip ON in the play call menu and swipe to the 4 DE package
2️⃣ Set your universal adjustments:
-->Safety Depth: Close
-->Safety Width: Pinch
3️⃣ Call Tampa 2
4️⃣ Spread your defensive line
5️⃣ Pass Commit
-->RB/R1 + Right Stick Up

This is the last evolution of Trips X Nasty in the Madden 26 cycle. ⏭️

This is the exact Offense that has come heavily requested from the Swolosimo2 youtube channel, where I use it against some of the best players in the world. 🙋

I’ve covered Trips X Nasty all year (Steelers, Bucs etc.) but if you’re a Trips X Nasty purist (like I am), then this is the Offense for you because it grants you access to EVERY play you need to succeed against ANY defense.

At first, when @RealXclusiv_ pitched this offense to me, I didn’t see the appeal.

But after taking an in-depth look, this may be the BEST, or at worst, second-best, META offense in the game.

The wide array of HB routes is what determines if a Bunch X Nasty is good or bad in Madden 26.

Browns has all of the following:

1. Speed HB In
2. Crab Route
3. Reverse Wheel, aka the orbit motion that allows for it
4. Speed Table
5. Mesh Spot Wheel

Then it also has:

1. The Sharp Corner in Drive HB Corner, a man/match killer
2. The Short X Cross Corner on the outside Bunch WR, which is great against aggressive switch sticks
3. The Ultra Short Corner in Bounce Mesh Drive

Not to mention, it boasts a short, sharp-cutting post in the play “Dbl Post HB Corner,” a play that is fully unique to the Browns playbook.

Then, unlike Benkert, it has a whole array of other viable formations, with the best being Trips TE Flex, which has the unequivocal best RPO in the game.

If you prefer Bunch TE, then stick to Benkert. But if you want an ELITE Trips TE Flex built with Slant Post, HB Draw, RPO Zone, and more, I’d lean Browns.

This is the BEST HB Direct Defense in Madden 26 🤯🔥

If you’re struggling with HB Direct and Inside Zone out of Y Off Trips, this completely changes things.

This setup lets you shoot the gap instantly and shut the run down before it can even develop.

Personnel matters a lot here.

You need a user that is tall, fast, and ideally has Secure Tackler or Tackle Supreme so you don’t get speed bursted before making the play.

How it works:
This alignment puts your user in perfect position to attack both HB Direct and Inside Zone. With the right timing, you’ll meet the RB in the backfield or force a TFL every time.

How to do it:
1️⃣ Turn Auto Flip ON and set Safeties to Pinch + Close Depth
2️⃣ Call Cover 2 from Nickel 3-3 Cub
3️⃣ Hover your user on the outside hip of the TE-side DE
4️⃣ Run straight down to shoot HB Direct
5️⃣ Run through the A-gap to shoot Inside Zone

Important:
Always use the dive tackle mechanic
Make sure Heat Seeker Assist is ON and set to 100%
