@ActoQuatro weirdest place in the castle. there's genuinely nothing there but rats. i'm convinced they put them there just to get rat noises in some rooms, and it was just easier to put the rats nearby
@davidwarner31 The truth will set you free. If you're tired of your name being dragged through the mud, just come forward man. It's clear that [certain people] don't appreciate how much of a bullet you took for them. How long do you need to endure?
@JNSports1@tonywbrown He jumped on a grenade, and everyone acts like he pulled the pin.
I think we're way past the point of caring about what happened 8 years ago in regards to the actual cheating. I think this is a guy clearly aggrieved that people are too stupid to stop berating the fall guy.
@JNSports1@tonywbrown Why should he at this point? He took the blame for something bowling sided. They still get lauded as heroes, and he gets given no grace by anyone, anywhere he goes. I don't even like him as a person, but wouldn't you bubble over if nobody appreciated what you did for others?
@Vacio3012@advent_agent yeah i mean, look at how many people do the same to elden ring dragons.
early games sorta rewarded it, so people keep doing it. same as the chalice dog in bloodborne. booop the nose.
@Dankness01 because im tryna do the game deathless without having to sign outta my whole god damn psn back on ps3 while people lag around. i wanna read messages and stay connected, i dont wanna look like beef jerky when i designed a cool character!
@Smalls2233 I think when you're allowed to exist in this open worlds without disrupting a narrative flow because the exploration is the point, they work. If I can go 10 hours without advancing the story that's probably an issue if it's meant to be a driving force in the game.
@Smalls2233 It seems worse these days that people just can't accept different opinions. I prefer more 'structure' than open-world games generally, they have tighter pacing and more deliberate level design. But the two that worked for me, Botw and ER are less narrative driven.
@_random_silence@glubo11 who talks like this, honestly? you sound just as bitter. people have opinions. Some of us don't like myriad things about gear 5/changing his fruit or Wano and struggled to connect with the tonal shift. Trolls exist. So do people that have disconnects with changes in the story.
I've been reading comments about Fortune's Weave recently since I'm getting a switch 2, and it sounds like Fire Emblem has really changed. I only liked Sacred Stones, dabbled in the first GC FE, but the game felt very snappy, jumping from engagement to engagement.
@KitexKite Not to be condescending, but having been there done that with online discourse when i was younger, ask yourself why you seem so disappointed in differing opinions. It's a lot easier to just like thing without being caught up in why others dont like thing if it makes you feel bleh
@KitexKite Opinions aren't fact. Lots of people find HK hard, IMO easy. Or they don't engage with postgame (yes, godhome) or boss rushes don't interest them, or haven't played in years. Opinions are allowed. The wolverine v SS difficulty you touch on in OP are probably different voices.
@KitexKite effectively, you're pretty stagnant for a long, long time. and because most things relevant do 2 masks, that first mask also feels almost worthless. The things that mitigate some of the difficulty (skull) are extremely hidden for the average player.
@KitexKite i've done steel soul and think they overnerfed some of the game with the patches, but i think the reasons for why some people find it disproportionately hard are kind of valid. the game doles 2 masks right from the start, and there's a death of mask upgrade til act 2.
@VanishedOmens agree with the comment saying design contributes. But Vaan makes plenty of sense as a main character, he's the audience surrogate. Without him, the characters can't easily provide exposition for the player, and his humble background is critical to Ashe's decisions esp endgame
