French Nuclear giant Framatome & Russian Nuclear leader Rosatom announced new cooperation for the production of nuclear fuel in a German factory to power Soviet-designed reactors in Eastern Europe.

The verbal escalation between French and Russian leaders, illustrated by bellicose exchanges, contrasts sharply with this industrial cooperation. French President Emmanuel Macron, having even raised the possibility of deploying troops in Ukraine, finds himself at the heart of this apparent contradiction which seems to be a pronounced trait of character of the French President.

Russia’s grip on the supply chain for nuclear power is strengthening, and its latest venture to feed Europe’s reactors is prompting outrage in Germany, a country that’s turned its back on the technology. Beyond the immediate controversy, this Franco-Russian alliance highlights the complexity of international energy issues, revealing the contradiction between their political and ecological agenda.

The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), the UN nuclear watchdog cautioned there’s no quick way to loosen Russia’s grip on nuclear supply chains and threatening to sever ties too soon would harm global energy markets.

European countries and the US have attempted to pivot away from Russian gas and in the long term, it is clear they will do everything in their power to move away from Russia's Nuclear fuel and reactors.

A summit on nuclear energy took place in Brussels yesterday, with the participation of Emmanuel Macron, to debate the future energy policies of the European Union.

After the Nordstream sabotage, we must also remain vigilant and hope that our transatlantic global "saboteurs-in-chief" are not entertaining the possibility of a nuclear false flag operation in Europe to accelerate this process.
