Putting A tweet out there but I retweet art involving tan, brown, and black characters or ocs purely for the sake of boosting their account and show miniorities in an actual positive light which of that being A.straying away from the fetish porn and B.Aggressively racist caricature
"they were groomed into racism!" YES YES YES NIGGA THATS HOW RACISM WORKS. HATRED IS TAUGHT. im not going to kiss the feet of every KKK member or red hat on the street because i saw a vision of their parents telling them to hate niggas. this excuse is mindless.
people really need to realize that even if you’re groomed into racism it’s still your responsibility to unlearn that shit and grow into a better person
and the part that some people don't like: you WILL have that held against you for the rest of your life and you can't do shit but take it on the chin because you were like that once upon a time and it cannot be erased nor is anybody obligated to forgive you for it
the hidden replies... you ain't sorry for shit. and why is it always "nonsense" when y'all get called out for racism? racism isn't nonsense and a non-racist person would never refer to it as such
White and non black queers making raceplay seem like the next new trend and now low self esteem self haters are jumping on it like it's a ride built for everyone. Or non black artists thinking if they don't put in big text that says bbc porn in their art they'll get away with it.
Porn and bara artists after telling em you can't keep making a career off fetishizing black and brown people an continuously perpetuate a harmful fetish that was made outta of pure racism from white people because niggas are gonna assualted and groomed irl(bbc)
Niggas will claim to be the “wokest person alive” but the instant you ask them about their opinion about the rampant anti blackness around the world, they’ll quickly try to switch the topic
@mtprojectry When people give free advice and explain the negative implications of stereotyped imagery and the response is to go, "I'll draw how I want!", how it is not an ego issue? An individual artist's style does not trump basic art theory and decades of racist programming.
@mtprojectry I'm sorry, but it's gotten to the point where Black artists have been harassed for posting art advice. Even when they were kind, they only received hostility and racism, so I think it's fair to point the finger at the other party for once.
