"What we have heard today are not just missile blasts, fighting, and the rumble of aircraft. This is the sound of a new Iron Curtain, which has come down and is closing #Russia off from the civilized world."
-Volodymyr Zelenskyy, President of #Ukraine
Kushner also failed to disclose himself as an agent of a foreign government, having been paid nearly $2 billion in total by foreign leaders. https://t.co/fyqxxyuYyp
@Bricktop_NAFO More people need to become involved in politics, and in places like the USA political donations need to be limited to the amount an average person might donate, so billionaires' money isn't perverting democracy.
Time to get blunt.
The Trump crime syndicate “peace plan”, fronted by Kushner/Witkoff, is nothing but a corrupt scheme.
Europe must be honest about this, and stop entertaining the Trump crime syndicate attempts to further enrich themselves.
US Senate investigates who restricted Ukraine’s access to “Starshield” — Reuters.
Democratic Senator Richard Blumenthal has launched an inquiry after the Ukrainian military lost access to a satellite link—crucial for its communications—on October 13. This development has weakened Ukraine’s defensive capabilities against Russian attacks.
In a letter to Pentagon chief Pete Hegseth, the senator demands clarification as to who made the decision: the White House, the US Department of Defense, or SpaceX. Furthermore, he seeks to determine whether the US military has an alternative in place should the company’s services be discontinued.
What do you think?
Was it Trump or Elon Musk?
@NewsHour "Ukraine's war with Russia"?
Did PBS miss 2022, when Russia encircled Ukraine with a vast army and then invaded to steal territory? You sound like you're getting your phrasing from RT.
Jared Kushner has been accused of holding two secret bank accounts in the Middle East that were exposed by Russian operatives who hacked his phone.

Under basic international law, the aggressor state pays for the destruction it inflicts.
So, russia's frozen assets 100% should be used towards paying for the destruction russia caused in Ukraine.
russia destroyed it, russia's assets pay for it.
Making any excuses is nonsense.
Bucha. It was a genocide, recognized by everyone. They buried hundreds of people. They tortured people. We found the grave. There were, I believe, around 500 people. When we liberated those towns near Kyiv, there emerged this, you know, this kind of hatred for the Russians, right at that moment. Not even at the moment when they started the full-scale war. Back then nobody understood what it really was yet. People understood what this war was and what Putin did personally when we found those mass graves of tortured adults, children. I mean they didn't just kill them, they tortured and killed them.
When we liberated Bucha, I said, bring every journalist here. Don't touch anything, just bring the journalists. The whole world simply has to see this. Imagine finding a mass grave in the U.S. or in Britain, God forbid, with 500 tortured people, adults, kids, dogs, animals shot dead. I mean, they held hunting sprees there from military vehicles. People were running, they were shooting, just hunting, playing games. They literally just played with people, like slavery. So how, after this, can you listen to Putin? And how, after this, can you forgive?

Once again, I am personally convinced that the only right way to deal with this administration is a firm, confident, calm, and utterly non-negotiable “no.” And to calmly, methodically call things by their names in public. We call betrayal betrayal, lies lies, and truth truth.
Let him rage and spew whatever vile, lying curses and threats he wants, foaming at the mouth if he likes. If he thinks it will be easier to bully Ukraine into committing suicide for the sake of his own absurd whims of the moment and his itchy little hands, he is deeply mistaken. All that sickening groveling, crawling on our knees, and kissing his ass only makes him climb onto our heads, try to solve his problems at our expense, and go on pleasing his idol in the Kremlin.
Ukraine has the extraordinary heroism of its soldiers, Europe, basic common sense, and American public opinion on its side. And has no cards in his deranged attempt to collude with the Kremlin.
The GRU hacked into Jared Kushner's iPhone. Dutch military intelligence (MIVD) then recruited a GRU spy who gave them access to the hacked phone. What MIVD discovered was that Kushner had access to two bank accounts --one Azerbaijani, the other Israeli --where Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and Emirati ruler Mohammed bin Zayed deposited money. It sounds like a slightly far-fetched episode of "Slow Horses," but it's real. And it proves just how eye-poppingly corrupt this administration was and continues to be as its "special envoy" decides the fate of tens of millions in Europe in the Middle East. Simply incredible reporting by Matthew Cole, drawn from his new book on Kushner. https://t.co/8AyV60gg1X
Ukraine is not Russia. That's Putin’s problem – refusing to recognize a separate nation, refusing to recognize a separate country – that's what did him in. He was shown a military operation that was supposed to take three days. We found parade uniforms in their various military vehicles. They were literally marching to a parade. He still doesn't understand and doesn't want to admit that this is a different nation, a different people.
They were advancing on Kyiv from all directions. Their main goal was to seize the capital of Ukraine. They reached Kyiv. They trapped us, and then we started hammering them, and they didn't know what to do about it. They were especially shocked when they drove toward the capital and people were just throwing burning mixtures. People were setting their armor on fire. It wasn't a matter of some general being an idiot. I believe the one who gave the order just didn't fully realize what was happening.
Because what does taking Kyiv mean? When you've taken those towns on the way to Kyiv, you have to leave troops behind to hold those towns. And that takes a huge number of people. It's a pretty large territory. If the people inside offer resistance, then you need an army to hold every town. That was their mistake. They didn't even realize there would be resistance. That was their main mistake. That's it.

Ukraine was once again unable to intercept a single incoming Russian missile overnight. Ukrainian officials blame another delayed shipment of Patriot interceptors.
Russia launched three waves of intense missile strikes on the Ukrainian capital just hours after Donald Trump’s top diplomat lavished praise on Vladimir Putin as a “humanitarian.” https://t.co/thqpMzhxxn
The stated position of the Trump administration is that the President of Russia is a humanitarian and that the President of Ukraine should be removed from office.
The American electorate have a chance to make their feelings about this known in less than two weeks.
