What is Project: Sycamore?
This is a silly little project that I have been planning for many months now! It is a story that I hope to be able to tell throughout a series of three SMPs, each with lore!

Considering that the arrival of players in INTERIM is clearly unexpected, I wonder what the consequences of that might me.
Technology can be quite fickle.
@Carpincho033238 I've been able to run it on around 6 GB maximum ram (actual use is definitely lower) without a proper/fancy GPU (Macbook...) but I don't usually use fancy shaders or large view distances

INTERIM is a lightly modded, 26.1.2 Java lore based SMP that is part of Project: Sycamore
@Carpincho033238 We have 30 server side currently, and the required client side list is TerraBlender, GlitchCore, Biomes O' Plenty, Fabric API, and Text Placeholder API
The recommended list (optimization, Xaeros, Simple Voice Chat, etc.) is 21 mods!

To do:
- Custom mod (for Fabric, 26.1?)
- Experiment and reduce latency
- Get panel console to actually load
- Finalize lore & trailer
- Stress testing
- Schedule out the SMP
- Applications!
- Create the kanban board :D
...And stuff I forgot about
Update for the third SMP:
- Name will be revealed later
- Hardware is a significant upgrade from before & works
- OS & server panel have been setup (Ubuntu, Pterodactyl, Wings)
- Current bottleneck is the network! I'm suspecting that the latency is from the tunneling service used
Small announcement!
I've mentioned before that this project will have 3 SMPs.
To make the third one the best it can be, there will be a 6 - 9 month minimum wait time as I need to do some life stuff, upgrade hardware if possible, code some stuff, and flesh out lore!
Acer's Abyss will be having it's finale on Sunday, August 31st at 8:00 AM PST/11:00 AM EST/3:00 PM UTC!
