McDonald’s Price Increases from 2019 to 2024:
Medium French Fry $1.79 -> $4.19
Big Mac $3.99 -> $7.49
10 McNuggets $4.49 -> $7.58
Cheeseburger $1.00 -> $3.15
Most of this is over a 200% INCREASE in price. This isn’t just inflation — it’s legalized robbery.
NEWS: The NCAA is nearing approval for a “franchise tag” system for college football, men’s basketball and women’s basketball.
Schools would be able to retain one student-athlete on a fully guaranteed 1-year deal, paying top-5 money at their position.

@sycamorepride@BisonBanners@CrimsonCast The problem is look at the financials. I remember when Moorhead State AD was interviewing for the AD position when Clinkscales was hired and they regretted the move to the pioneer league because the over expenses did not change.
High Point went 30-4, hasn't lost since mid-January - and wouldn't have sniffed an at large bid
Miami (OH) went undefeated in the regular season, finished 31-1 and ended up in Dayton
We REALLY need to re-evaluate how we go about selecting at-large teams for the NCAA Tournament
Since college hoops nonsense is a hot topic issue right now, let me toss one out. Scheduling. More specifically: "Power" Conference Scheduling.
Your current Top 50 NET teams are a whopping 50-33 in true road games this year. Yes, the 50 "best" teams in the country average 1 road win. It's about to be January with the season half over. Pundit oft glazed #9 BYU, #16 Houston and #29 St. Johns haven't played a road game yet.
BYU, Iowa, Houston, Texas Tech, Tennessee, Florida, Kentucky, Arkansas, St. Johns, NC State, Indiana, Auburn, Clemson, Baylor, and Butler don't have a road win yet. 15 out of the top 50 teams don't have a road win yet. Sad.
Where is the Coach Cal, Painter, and Pitino outrage on that? The entire system is a sham designed to protect their programs to funnel the power, players, and money upwards while they hide in their home arenas like the cowards they are.
