In 2020, I launched the 1st public initiative of @SocialHealthLab: monthly microgrants to support community connectors across the US.
I did so because I believe in the the power of local action and its ripple effects.
On Sept 28, let's make more waves: https://t.co/qiTyaZH0Rf
You're invited!
Celebrate National Good Neighbor Day with us and neighbors everywhere.
On Sept 28, we're hosting a virtual showcase of neighbors who are creating waves of connection in three communities across the US.

One of my fave journal articles I read in the past year. The feelings of *connection & sacredness* we get from collective effervescence in rare, large group events can also be experienced in everyday social contexts, to some extent. + https://t.co/LbsnFunUsw
+ So I may not be able to go to a concert every weekend but I can regularly go be around people at a park or coffee shop. I love the idea that the coffee shop gives me a kind of micro-dose of the deeply positive connection that I get from the concert.
Super proud to be part of the team that brought interactive installation i/o disco to life for @EDC_LasVegas last weekend 🤩 🪩
A big thanks to this crew and to the Headliners who stopped by to play 👏🏻👾 you all were so fun and sweet

I love third places. Spending time in an outdoor community spot with nearby cafes, shops, and lunch spots, just hanging out around strangers out living their lives with their pets and families, was incredibly healing after a year+ of pre-vax isolation. https://t.co/63uPYuMFV1
8 years and I’m still trying to answer this question “Message in the music: Do lyrics influence well-being?”
I mean, yes, lyrics do. But we don’t have evidence yet 🤣

Can’t wait to see you there!
One of the things I’ve been up to recently: a fandom project to help people prepare for intensely positive concert experiences & the aftermath—incl “post concert depression,” capitalizing on joy, processing the meaning of the experience & integrating new insight into “real” life
This is #PTD_LA_ProjectSpaceship 🚀
#BTSARMY’s (symbolic) ride HOME after #PTD_ON_STAGE_LA.
@BTS_twt concerts transport us to another galaxy, to a starry ocean of love and connection that’s beyond this world. Coming back can be rough. The aftermath can be an opportunity.

Hello 👀 some people are finding me on this account from my recent blog. Most of my @BTS_twt stuff goes on thru my fan account 👇🏻
It’s a joy and a comfort to be a BTS fan, to engage deeply with my own experience, and to connect with this fandom 💜
.@BTS_twt spend nearly a third of their live concert on ending it well. I took a deep dive into how and why, with perspectives from The Art of Gathering by @priyaparker: https://t.co/ufVEC4NULX
