Defence spending has not been helped by the eye watering sums lost to fraud by the Tories
In 2020–21 alone, there were losses of between £33.2 billion and £58 billion to fraud and error unrelated to the ongoing pandemic.
Add the cost of fraudulent loans, unusable PPE, CORRUPTION
“All I would say to Labour MPs is don’t make the same mistake we did.”

Seriously, if you haven't played it yet and you have a PS4 or PS5, you really should grab The Tomorrow Children, give yourself a break and play something that's emphatically not standard fare.
A true giant in journalism, Jon Snow has spent his life asking difficult questions and telling important stories.
Now, in sharing his Alzheimer’s diagnosis, he is helping others feel less alone and raising awareness of a condition that affects so many families.
The real two-tier scandal in the UK is the relentless double standard approach of a media which lets one party leader get away with financial dodgery that would drive them into a frenzy if it involved someone their billionaire owners didn’t want in power because they believed in things like fairness and equality
Just spoke to a business event in the Midlands. Show of hands on whether Starmer should stay or go — 80-20 stay. Has been similar at several recent events. Really interesting to see such a chasm between political/media bubble view, and out and about. Main reasons given “stability …. May not like some of the decisions but we are used to them now … fear of similar chaos as under the Tories … feeling that any PM with a decent majority has “the right and the duty” to serve a full term … May not be the most charismatic but “can the others really do much better in the circs?” … sense that media make everything seem worse than it is … worry that “country first, party second” exposed as hollow.
BREAKING: Andy Burnham has announced he will challenge Keir Starmer for the Labour leadership if he wins the Makerfield by-election.
Labour figures already fuming. Could this backfire?
Labour MP texts: ‘There’s no way I’m going to Makerfield now, good luck to the whips!’
Labour source texts: ‘Andy Burnham ran for leader in 2010 and lost. He ran for leader in 2015 and lost. He has spent the last two years undermining this Labour government at every opportunity in pursuit of his goal of becoming Labour leader. To suggest he’s only running because of Wes is an insult to everyone with a modicum of intelligence.’
🚨 WATCH: Immigration Minister Mike Tapp says it's not up to Labour MPs to decide who the leader is
"We have to let Keir Starmer get to 5 years. I am absolutely confident that he will"

Dr Khan makes a valid point. If they have done a 55 minute interview with Sturgeon about her husband stealing £400k, when do we get the interview with Farage questioning his £5mil undeclared gift and his house in Clacton his partner 'bought' with no money. #bbclaurak
Mandelson says PM tends to ‘buckle under pressure’ - well that’s not how Trump sees it when he regularly harangued Starmer for not joining the military action over Iran. Certainly he’s not buckling under pressure with all the negatives pouring forth from the media and his own MPs
