This is pretty much what happened to my dad, the man spent 55-60 years working day and night hardest worker you ever would meet. 12-hour days owned multiple businesses over his life. We both did hard back-breaking work breathing chemicals we shouldn't, lifting things that had to be moved, rolling around on concrete up and under trucks and equipment.

He spent his last 5 years with cancer, medical bills wiped out everything he ever worked for and he spent his last years suffering.

I met a 78 year old man who recently started sleeping at a park I take supplies to.

He broke his back working construction. When he got out of the hospital, he had been evicted.

A lifetime of his belongings had been thrown away by his landlord.

Homelessness is that easy.

He’s been impeached twice.
He’s been indicted twice.
He’s been found liable for sexual abuse & defamation.
He’s under investigation for attempting to overturn a legitimate Presidential election, both federally and on the state level.
And despite ALL of this - there is STILL a very strong chance that the Republican Party will once again put Donald Trump at the top of their ticket.
