Using the Poll option could be used in order to determine what the majority of the class thinks about a topic. For example a teacher could ask, “Should cell phones be allowed in school?” The teacher can then have the class debate the topic the next day at school. #EME5050FSU

@sarahschmidt20p I couldn’t agree more! Obviously not everyone can be an expert in technology, but these new tools can be so helpful in engaging our students as well as promoting deeper understanding of topics. There is so much information on the internet and it doesn’t hurt to look! #EME5050FSU

I heard Twitter could be used as an exit ticket and I am in love! Before leaving the classroom the teacher could put a prompt on the board and have students respond using Twitter. As homework the students could also reply to one another! Is that not an amazing idea??#EME5050FSU

What an amazing way to get information about curriculum from those in the community. Using Twitter to bounce ideas off of one another who work in the same field is amazing. Also teachers could make an account for their classroom to make announcements or release info! #EME5050FSU
