@criprights@MicheleONeilAU Yes, tried to talk to relevant people at my local @NTEUnion branch. Got token responses of taking it into consideration etc. I even tried to point out WHS requirements + the scientific evidence. It seems most workplaces aren't up to WHS legal obligations https://t.co/yRUIBKH9EI

We can confirm that no defamation action bought this video down. Just thugs and brutes and a defeated police force.

I have a lot of new followers. Welcome, and thank you. You may be interested in a book I wrote about structural racism including the role power structures like the media play in upholding them. Quite relevant to my current legal case.

Dear parents
It’s not a cold, it’s not mild
These are not outcomes you want to roll the dice on several times a year
This is too high a price for education
We need to work harder to provide SAFE access to education
Knowing this can happen to kids & refusing to act is evil
COVID vaccines saved countless relatively healthy people from getting sick and dying which is a wonderful miracle. But they are not enough to protect older, sick and disabled people from serious disease. We now need more emphasis on other prophylactic measures to finish the job.
Four years of ‘stay away from vulnerable people’ & get thee to a nunnery is the only ‘protection’ disabled people are ever offered. Presumably we’re supposed to start pulling our own teeth and grow potatoes out of shit like a stranded Martian astronaut #CovidIsntOver
It is terrifying that governments say that disabled people should rely on ‘foundational’ supports in the community - especially for mental health. There ARENT any supports, especially in the country.
Why don’t they get this?
Armchair twitter economists: “OMG, you want to prevent COVID?? Have you epidemiologists even ever heard of cost-benefit analyses????”
Actual economist: “I worked on estimating the cost of covid, along with my colleague Larry Summers, which we estimated to be 16 trillion dollars”
”In the lab, COVID is a Level 3 biohazard. In schools, it's no big deal. I don't think you can reconcile those two statements”. ~Colin Furness, infection control epidemiologist
We aren’t protecting kids enough. #COVID
