AnyPS5 is bringing PS5 executables to Windows and Linux without emulation.

Here's the tech behind it:

Relinker → Converts PS5 executables into native PC binaries
System libraries → Reimplements PS5 libraries from scratch
Graphics pipeline → Recompiles shaders into SPIR-V
Current progress → A small 2D game reportedly running at 60 FPS
What's interesting?
→ No traditional emulator
→ No separate emulation runtime
→ No bundled Sony firmware, keys, or proprietary code
→ Built around preservation and interoperability
It's still early, and scaling this to commercial PS5 games is a massive challenge.

But imagine running your PS5 game library directly on a PC, without needing the console itself.

If this project delivers on its promise, console exclusivity could look very different in the future.
