It was an immense pleasure and honour to serve as Referee Commission Member & Tatami Manager at the 20th All India Independence Cup & Karate Championship 2026, held from 6th–9th August 2026 at Talkatora Indoor Stadium, New Delhi, proudly representing Telangana State.

With 3,000+ athletes and 100+ WKF, AKF & National officials from across India, it was truly a grand and memorable championship.

It was a great honor and privilege for me to officiate as a Referee Commission Member of Karate India Organisation (KIO) at the 23rd Andhra Pradesh State Karate Championship–2026.
On 2nd August 2026 and which was held at Maris Stella Indoor Stadium Vijaywada AP.

The championship was conducted under the esteemed guidance and guardianship of Shihan Milton Shastri, President of APSKDA and Chairman of the Finance Commission, KIO.

With the enthusiastic participation of more than 2,000 athletes from across Andhra Pradesh, the championship was successfully conducted and concluded with great discipline, professionalism, and sporting spirit.

I would like to extend my heartfelt congratulations and sincere appreciation to Sensei Keertan Konduru, Joint Secretary of KIO, Head Coach of KIO, and General Secretary of APSKDA, for organizing this prestigious championship in an outstanding and highly professional manner. His excellent coordination, warm hospitality, and the wonderful arrangements for food and accommodation made the event truly memorable.

My sincere appreciation also goes to all the respected referees and judges for their valuable cooperation, dedication, professionalism, and commitment throughout the championship.

A special congratulations to Sensei Keertan Konduru and the entire organizing team for successfully conducting the state-level championship without a single injury, incident, or protest. This remarkable achievement reflects the exceptional planning, discipline, teamwork, and commitment of everyone involved.

5TH TELANGANA POLICE GAMES & SPORTS MEET 2026

Being a Referee Commission Member of Karate India Organisation (KIO), it was an immense honour and privilege for me to lead my team of referees in officiating the 5th Telangana Police Games & Sports Meet 2026, held on 7th & 8th July 2026 at the Saroornagar Indoor Stadium and organised by the Malkajgiri Police Commissionerate.

I had the privilege of attending this prestigious event along with my dedicated team of nine officials. With great commitment, discipline, professionalism, and teamwork, we successfully completed the Karate competition.

I am extremely proud of my referee team for their sincere efforts and professional officiating throughout the event. This valuable experience has further strengthened their confidence and preparedness, and they are now ready to take on greater responsibilities at the All India Police Games.

I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to Sensei Keertan Kondoru, KIO Joint Secretary & KIO Head Coach, for providing us with this wonderful opportunity to officiate at such a prestigious event. His continuous encouragement, guidance, trust, and unwavering support are deeply appreciated.

Gratitude Message – KIO Sub Junior, Cadet & Junior Karate Championship 2026

It is an immense pleasure and honor for me to have served as a Referee Commission Member of the Karate India Organization (KIO) during the KIO Sub Junior, Cadet & Junior Karate Championship 2026, held from 4th to 7th June 2026 at the Multipurpose Hall, Parade Ground, Dehradun, Uttarakhand.

During the championship, I had the privilege of performing various responsibilities as Assistant Tatami Manager, Kansa, Referee, and Judge, while also coordinating and deploying Tatami officials throughout the four-day event. Alhamdulillah, the championship concluded with great success and professionalism.

The event was excellently organized by the Uttarakhand Karate Association under the leadership of Shihan Sanjive Kumar Jhangra, Secretary of UKA and KIO, along with the dedicated KIO Organizing Committee. The championship witnessed the participation of approximately 3,000 athletes from 33 States and Union Territories, while more than 5,000 spectators attended and witnessed this remarkable celebration of karate.

I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude and sincere appreciation to Hanshi Bharat Sharma, President of KIO, my mentor, guide, and inspiration. His unwavering trust, support, and encouragement have played a significant role in my journey and achievements. Whatever position I hold today is largely due to his continuous belief in my abilities.

My sincere thanks also go to Shihan Sanjive Kumar Jhangra for his outstanding leadership, dedication, and meticulous planning, which ensured the successful execution of this prestigious championship.

I would like to draw attention to the significant contributions of the Karate India Organization (KIO) towards the development and promotion of karate in India.

KIO is proud to have a large network of internationally qualified officials, including World Karate Federation (WKF) and Asian Karate Federation (AKF) Referees, Judges, and Accredited Coaches. The organization has consistently worked towards raising the standards of karate in India by providing athletes, coaches, and officials with opportunities to participate and excel at the highest international levels.

Over the years, Indian karate athletes have represented the nation in prestigious international events such as the World Karate Championships, Asian Karate Championships, South Asian Karate Championships, and Commonwealth Karate Championships under the banner of KIO. I have witnessed firsthand the organization’s commitment to the growth and development of athletes, coaches, referees, and judges across the country.

KIO has continuously worked for the betterment of Indian karate and has supported countless individuals in achieving international recognition. Therefore, I strongly believe that aspiring karate athletes who wish to develop their skills and pursue excellence at the highest level should consider becoming part of the Karate India Organization.

At the same time, it is unfortunate that certain individuals may be spreading misinformation regarding KIO, potentially creating confusion among stakeholders and authorities. In the interest of fairness, transparency, and the future of Indian karate, I respectfully request the concerned authorities to carefully verify all claims and allegations before reaching any conclusions.

I humbly appeal to Hon’ble IOC Member and Indian Olympic Association Secretary, P. T. Usha, and the relevant sports authorities to ensure that a fair and impartial review is conducted, keeping the welfare and future of Indian karate athletes as the highest priority.

The future of thousands of dedicated karate athletes depends on a strong, transparent, and supportive system. I am confident that justice and due diligence will prevail in the best interests of Indian sports and karate development.
