The 7 lives of Nadia

During the spooky season, we enjoy the darkness of it. We dress up as monsters, witches, vampires and ghouls. We watch horror movies, go to haunted houses and tell scary stories to one another.

But the truth is, not everything frightful happens under the cover of night or in a land of fantasy. Accidents, missteps, and sometimes just bad timing lead to endings that are every bit as horrific and scary as the films we enjoy. Real events that happen to people under the shine of the sun are just as gruesome as those under a full moon.

Next week, @Nadezz3dx and I will show some of the ways in which daylight can be the scariest part of the day.

Though our goal was to have this series coincide with Halloween, real life had other plans. People are moving from spooky days to more joyous ones, and from pumpkin spice to peppermint, but the scenes we will present are not necessarily tied to the tricks and treats of last week. Scary things happen every day.
