@Rikimaru112000 @KamenAmericaJPN I think I remember that when the Japanese anime was airing, the original cartoon’s popularity was already waning. Craig McCracken, the creator of the cartoon, left to work on his next project by the start of season 5, and the quality of the episodes were a bit worse for it.

@JazineG Got this ending and didn’t look back my first time playing through the game, Lord knows if I could choose to live in a fantasy world where my friend was alive, I’d reject reality in a heartbeat. Finally did replay the game with the true ending last year.

@TeshimaKairei I’m glad this gets talked about in the Japanese community. I grew up loving Cardcaptor Sakura and as soon as I read the manga, I didn’t like how much the anime’s English dub changed.

@TeamAPS That’s how I started Yugioh: I got the Yugi starter deck as a gift and saved money to buy a booster at the store every once in a while, and I’d swap cards in my deck when I pulled something I liked. I didn’t go online, look up meta decks, and buy singles when I was 9.
