Guess what folks. Fossil fuels are running out. Don’t want to convert to electric? You’re gonna need an alternate fuel for your engines. That’s where sustainable fuels come in. Ramp development through motorsport and it’ll hit a price and efficiency that’ll make it market ready.
That’s why it’s relevant and that’s why it matters both in racing and on the road.
OEMs want to push electric because it will force you to buy a new car. But the charging infrastructure is not ready and won’t be for decades. The international infrastructure already exists for mass rollout of sustainable, renewable fuels via regular fuel pumps. And it works in your engine like regular gas.
Indycar already uses Shell 100% renewable fuel. F1 has adopted the move more recently. If you want to keep proper engines, you’ve gotta quit getting your diapers twisted over the one thing that’s going to continue to allow them to run.
@hopebrianlegend@Punk_Bat Sucks that it was only temporary, those Elantra N's are disgusting on track and I haven't heard of people running into torque steer issues simply because the diff tuning is so amazing
I'm someone who used to do brand partnerships / influencer marketing and spent 7 figures in my career towards creators/brands:
This is SPECIFICALLY for small to mid size creators!!
Brands do not care about CCV anymore. If you're expensive to sponsor and can't convert, we are burning money.
Your livestream views don't matter. It disappears. It has no longevity. It doesn't convert to the views you get on social media.
Brands want longevity and something that can be linked and shared.
Additionally, brands would rather do gifting in exchange for content than spend money. Why? Because if it's their own inventory - great! If it's inventory that can be pitched to a partner brand - EVEN BETTER because it's coming out of their pockets and not ours but we get the benefits of looking good because we're the one delivering it. Just know that's going to come with extra deliverables and we expect you to go above and beyond. You scratch our back and we'll scratch yours even better in the future.
Brands will spend money though. As long as you're cheap. ~$5k is what you can expect from majority of brands if your conversion rate is very low. But be ready for the longest deliverables list and an expectation to really sell the product to your audience.
If you can accept that - then they're willing to sweeten the deal later on but it's not guranteed.
I usually don’t tweet about these type of things often, but I’ve been seeing it a lot particularly in Valorant and in the last couple years.
It does not matter how popular, hard working, or talented someone is, there will always be consequences. I don’t know when this idea got lost for so many people over the last couple years, but it was a very well-known thing when I started esports 10 years ago.
Your image as a person is EVERYTHING nowadays, and its astonishing that orgs/peers don’t try to help or train for it especially with the increased use of social media and the influence it has our on life and work.
Basically, don’t be stupid online OR in person, its not that hard 👍
