They would be quite the coworkers. I can easily see mind flayers being really good at bio-engineering, genetics, and everything biology-related

It would fit perfectly with the current work being done in the Viper scientists’ domain, Dr. Syrraka

I can imagine that psionic power would be really useful just to grab your morning coffee or tools without even moving.
Also, their tentacles be useful for holding stuff like scalpels or smaller tools. They should be wearing like surgical gloves, but made for tentacles?
