@4TiffanyJustice Many teachers are unwilling to enforce rules. And who would want to restrict an angry man-sized 17 YO? The blanket rules only serve as a tool. If the school has the right culture and a faculty and administration that supports it then blanket rules are not needed.

@JonHaidt My school district is delaying removing phones from the high school (they already do it in lower schools) out of a fear of not being able to enforce it. They think that just removing them from class (which they’ll fail at doing without a strong plan) will be sufficient. Sad!
