@MrSillySunshine What if Sonic and Eggman died during the Black Arms invasion and Shadow took up Sonic’s role?
What if Lanolin became a counterpart to Starline? Admiring Sonic before losing faith and trying to end the cycle herself?
What if Sonic gained the power to make flowers bloom anywhere?
@MrSillySunshine What if one of the other three Diamond Cutters survived instead of Whisper (Smithy, Slinger, or Claire)?
What if The End had a stronger reach all over the world and could influence other people to try and free it?
What if Sonic absorbed Light Gaia’s power instead of Dark Gaia’s?
Are your kids learning to contribute?
Giving children chores isn't about making childhood miserable or expecting them to run the household. It's about teaching them that being part of a family comes with responsibilities. Everyone has a role, and everyone can contribute in some way.
Something as simple as making their bed, putting away their toys, feeding a pet, helping with dinner, taking out the trash, or keeping their room clean can teach lessons that go far beyond the chore itself. Kids learn that things don't magically get done. They learn to notice what needs to be done and take care of it without always waiting for someone to tell them.
Responsibility also builds competence. When children are trusted with tasks they can handle, they get the opportunity to solve problems, make decisions, and experience the satisfaction of doing something themselves. Over time, those small responsibilities can turn into confidence and independence.
Chores also teach an important lesson about family life. A home isn't a hotel where someone else handles everything. It's a place where people live together, help one another, and carry their share of the load.
Of course, expectations should match a child's age and abilities. The point isn't perfection. It's consistency, effort, and gradually giving children more responsibility as they grow.
Parents aren't just raising children who need to be taken care of. They're raising future adults who will eventually need to take care of themselves, their homes, their families, and their responsibilities.
Are you equipping your kids with what they need to grow into responsible adults?
@Pawdaii I do think Sonic would look cuter with flowers, grass blades, and other bits of nature in his quills. Displaying him as a defender of nature. Can lead to jokes on how they always come back no matter how many times someone picks a piece out. Maybe some light blue streaks too.
@MrSillySunshine That he shouldn’t be held to impossible standards and be berated when something goes wrong. He needs private correction and unyielding support. Something his friends provide to pull him back. Also, have Shadow be a mentor to heroes who struggle with negative emotions.
@MrSillySunshine Darkspine is the rage form as he attacks without mercy and screams his frustrations. Lacrimoso is the sorrow form, spreading an aura that makes victims depressed and hopeless when consumed by it. These forms show Sonic is a living being who isn’t flawless like the world expects.
1. Do not rent a house close to a church, mosque, or school. You’ll regret it if you do.
2. The first red flag when you are house hunting is if the landlord/landlady lives in the compound. Abort mission.
3. The best time to house hunt is during the rainy season. It helps you avoid places that are prone to flooding and erosion.
4. The kind of people who live in the compound, street, or estate is very important. It is best to live among married or family people. This will save you from trouble. I’ll not explain further.
5. Check for proximity to a standard gym, supermarket, pharmacy, filling station, hospital/clinic, and police station.
6. Any house that is asking for two years’ rent upwards is a red flag. They’ll most likely serve you a quit notice after those two years so they can rent it out to someone who will pay two years’ rent and pay all the caution fees you paid.
7. Check how frequently they bring light in that area. Don’t ask the house agent or tenants. Ask those shop owners and children on that street. They’ll tell you the truth.
8. Always ask and check if the last occupant of the house is owing light bills. If you don’t, you’ll end up paying for light that you didn’t use.
9. Check for network. Do not rent a house where you have to go to your kitchen before you can have access to good network.
10. Take your time. If it is going to take you six months to find a house of your taste and budget, then wait and keep searching. Never pay for a house in a haste or out of desperation.
11. If it is not a new house, do your findings to know why the last tenant of the apartment you want to rent packed out.
12. Ask about their policies. Do they allow generators? Do they lock the gate too early? Do they rent out apartments to people with questionable characters, occupations, etc.? These are red flags that may land you in trouble if you ignore them.
@sonicstadium@AIPTcomics Sick of being seen as a worrywart and crybaby just for wanting long term peace in the world, she cuts ties with everyone and triples down on her old ways. Only viewing Shadow as someone worth her time due to similar ideals. But even he’ll have concerns due to her stone heart.
@sonicstadium@AIPTcomics After enduring nonstop torment with the virus, Surge, and now reality bending fog that likely opened her eyes to the bigger picture, she’ll see Sonic is as much of a villain as Eggman is. His attempts to calm her down are seen as another gaslight attempt of being in the wrong.
