GREATNESS dictates it. If young, it’s PROMISE of greatness but u MUST deliver. Serena won US Open at 17. Gretzky won Hart as 19yo rookie. Tiger won Masters at 21. MJ dropped 63 in playoffs in 2nd yr. All then DOMINATED. There’s no history of anyone as face of any league so unworthy.

I thought Caitlin would be top-3 by year 3. I was wrong. Not just record turnovers & poor D, but never thought she’d shoot only 33% from 3! (Paige shot 33% from 3 as rookie, now 38% in yr 2. We see that growth). I thought Clark would prioritize her best skillset, her elite passing & channel Steve Nash, but she’s Trae Young & that’s ok. People, like Trae, are realizing she will not live up to her promise, or even come close.

There is no case in sports history where the “face of the league” did not dominate as part of that bargain. In every combined advanced stat, she rates #18 to #41. Fever are 17-9 when Aari/Odyssey/Tyasha have been the starting PG & Fever came within Gm 5 whisker of WNBA Finals w/o her. So uplifting her is different from any other athlete in history. Once ppl realized Brian Bosworth wasn’t he goods, popularity faded real quick. That’s how it ALWAYS been.

Your “face of the league” analysis is OBJECTIVELY and HISTORICALLY wrong. The question is WHY is “the marketplace” so damn wed to the success Caitlin even after her promise for domination is fading before our eyes after 3 seasons, and so many superior players to hype higher. That’s the real question you should spend time on.

🚨 UPDATE: 8 people charged in Sex Ring “Underground Bunker” for Paying adults to Rape their Children and Pets — Ages 3-16. Trial delayed as mom pleads guilty and flips on co-defendants

In Bibb County, Alabama, eight suspects ran a sex trafficking ring out of an underground bunker where children as young as 3 were drugged, bound, and raped with adults paying to abuse them.

Animals were also targeted.

Rebecca Brewer and mother of some of the victims, pleaded guilty to sexual torture and nine counts of first-degree kidnapping. As part of the deal she agreed to testify against the other seven defendants.

The trial for the remaining suspects has been delayed while the case expands, including a federal investigation into at least one of them.

These monsters turned their own kids and pets into victims for profit.

How long will it take for every last one of them to face real justice?
