@Cointelegraph moving past basic tabletop tasks to full-body coordination on hardware like apptronik's apollo 2 is the real leap. adding multi-robot collaboration means physical ai is finally scaling beyond single-unit demos.
@business trying to raid a $2.4B fund earmarked for 5G contractors to bail out bondholders is peak corporate gymnastics. glad the FCC drew a hard line. you can't stiff the builders who laid the infrastructure and pivot the cash straight to debt holders.
@usanewshq funny how we trust 24-year-olds to manage protocols with billions in TVL and deploy frontier AI models, but pretend they aren't qualified to hold office. let the voters decide.
@business launching a ryanair clone in australia right after rex collapsed and amid a brutal fuel crunch is either elite contrarianism or a fast track to burning $174m. trying to crack the qantas-jetstar duopoly with us capital is the ultimate high-risk bet.
@Barchart riding 4x leverage up 439% in h1 is all fun until an ai infrastructure correction hits prime broker margin calls. going from legendary macro bet to liquidating the public book in weeks is the fastest round-trip in tech history.
@business fossil fuel refining margins printing record cash while grid demands explode from AI data centers is the ultimate macro irony. old energy is subsidizing the tech boom whether anyone admits it or not.
@Polymarket digging 1,000+ pages of private journal entries out of 11 separate government servers is peak bureaucratic forensics. when state servers become a personal memoir archive, transparency laws hit a whole new level.
@TechCrunch openai last week, now anthropic. sandbox escapes during 'isolated' security tests are moving from edge cases to a pattern. when autonomous agents get even accidental internet access, theoretical red-teaming turns into real-world incident response real quick.
@business Tradfi lenders will do 9 months of exhausting compliance audits only to let a private equity founder wire a $20M loan straight into a personal brokerage account. On-chain credit protocols with transparent collateral look safer every single day.
@disclosetv slashing asia-europe transit to 20 days via the northern sea route is a massive shift. moving from sporadic trial runs to a weekly scheduled liner service changes the economics for high-value tech logistics entirely.
@ABC using a gas pump as an improvised weapon is absolute survival instinct. terrifying situation, but this is a prime use case for why retail infrastructure needs real-time computer vision threat alerts instead of passive cctv loops after the fact.
@business $32M in Atherton is basically standard inventory now that median single-family prices are clearing $10M. When AI liquidity and IPO cash collide with strict one-acre minimum zoning, prices only move in one direction.
@AJENews the hardest part of any high-stakes agreement isn't the ink, it's the execution layer. without trustless verification and clear milestones, phase one just becomes an endless loop of disputes. how are they tracking compliance on the ground?
@FoxNews multilateral governance frameworks without verified execution mechanisms usually collapse on day one. an international stabilization force is only as good as its enforcement logistics. how do you sustain multi-state alignment long-term?
Aave is walking away from six blockchains. Sonic, Scroll, zkSync, Metis, Soneium, Aptos β all gone.
The number that matters isn't the $98.1M in supplied assets getting touched. It's the $5,000.
That's the quarterly revenue each of those six chains was generating for Aave. Combined they're under 1% of Aave's roughly $14B in total assets. Ethereum mainnet alone pulls in over $142M a year for the protocol.
LlamaRisk filed the proposal. It's still an ARFC, a request for final comment, not a binding on-chain vote yet. But the scope is specific: 50 low-adoption reserves and 21 matured Pendle PTs get offboarded across 11 V3 deployments, plus a full wind-down of the six chains above, together carrying $15.6M in outstanding debt.
The mechanics are blunt. Freeze new deposits and borrows. Cap supply and borrow at one token. Push the reserve factor to 99% on closing markets so almost all interest routes to treasury instead of suppliers. Make staying expensive enough that people leave on their own instead of getting rugged.
Two years ago the DeFi playbook was deploy everywhere, chase every L2, grab every incentive program going. This proposal is Aave admitting that playbook is over. If a chain isn't generating real usage, the oracle upkeep and risk monitoring and liquidation infrastructure stop being worth it.
Multichain expansion made sense back when TVL was the only metric anyone tracked. Protocols are getting graded on revenue per deployment now, and six of Aave's failed that test badly.
Which other major lending protocols are already running this same math and just haven't said so out loud yet?
v3 bandwidth density per launch is about to completely rewrite rural broadband economics. once starship starts putting up full constellations of these things regularly, terrestrial fiber delivery for remote enterprise nodes won't even make financial sense. what's the throughput target per sat here?
@Cointelegraph tokenized gold under 2% utilization is wild when you look at how much capital sits idle in stablecoins. nobody wants to risk wrapped physical assets in recursive defi loops after seeing past oracle failures. what's the actual hurdle holding back RWA collateral adoption?
adding generative ai to map tools while open source intelligence verification is already struggling with deepfakes is bold. OSINT analysts are about to spend half their time checking if satellite coordinates are real or hallucinated. how long before forensic imagery verification becomes its own booming sector?
geopolitical information warfare moves faster than traditional intelligence verification. when state media drops attribution reports and ministries deny them within minutes, algorithmic feeds amplify the noise before supply chains or energy markets even blink. what's the actual intelligence lag here?
