@Ninjaristic_ The trick is to find a few good reviewers (or have a friend who is a good reviewer) and see who they like and follow. The reviews will pop up on the activity feed and you can find them super easy

@AsarathaHS I think Shonen is in a similar state but probably amplified because we’re seeing it from a once removed lens, but also i think in general ppl do this a lot. Even with animated shows or television, referring to “cartoon network” or “disney” as pseudo genres is pretty common

@AsarathaHS kinda similar instance with “A24” being used as a synonymous term for like indie/artsy films and even sometimes being referred to as like a director or something, even though it’s a production/distribution company it’s being used as if it’s a genre of film
