@huehuecoyotl22 A bit of promotional posts here and there. @Margougou21 sometimes discusses improvement ideas for the game. Lots of people have issues following specific topics without tweetdeck..

[Syntactic @SyntacticSalt]

[Syntactic @SyntacticSalt]

@andrus1806 @Margougou21 You are talking about watching, but Margougou is talking about playing :)

[Syntactic @SyntacticSalt]

@Margougou21 I think the idea behind it (make water more attractive and the first fight less punishing, especially for low-level players) is good. But i agree that it didn't work out exactly as planned, and on high ELOs had the opposite effect.

[Syntactic @SyntacticSalt]

[Syntactic @SyntacticSalt]

@OnimaruEsports I could only catch small parts of the event, but could still feel that this was fueled by passion, lots of it.
Bringing so many people together is outstanding, and i really enjoyed the different caster matchups.

The streak is broken. Who's next?

[Syntactic @SyntacticSalt]

@paradox303_ I thought we were done with announcement announcements

[Syntactic @SyntacticSalt]

@BeingEsports Depends on how they are split across phases and breakers

[Syntactic @SyntacticSalt]

@membtv Hey @redbullgaming, i hope you got some more outfits prepared for Memb!

[Syntactic @SyntacticSalt]

@Hera_Aoe What is @Dave_AoE doing there?

[Syntactic @SyntacticSalt]

@ION_WARRIOR @ChainsSoul So you want to tell me that this is vastly better and the issue is not related to this abomination of a table to begin with?

[Syntactic @SyntacticSalt]

@Gideonsaccount If you are comfortable with that, why not?
Downsides could related to your DACH tournaments, e.g. finding cocasters or community interaction.

[Syntactic @SyntacticSalt]

[Syntactic @SyntacticSalt]

@the_otter_aoe We don't care what you use as a logo for your team. We do have to care which logos are uploaded to liquipedia tho, as otherwise there's a risk of legal issues wrt copyright. But nice framing.

[Syntactic @SyntacticSalt]

[paradox303 @paradox303_]

Welcome to the results of the Age of Empires II Community Awards for 2025!

Thank you all to who responded, I made a few changes this year in the voting process and overall I am happy with how it went! I have a few changes I want to implement next year, but I think overall it was much improved.

In particular I'd like to give some thanks to T-West, NegoDrama, Uglie, welcometorapture, Rbase and anyone else I missed for helping out with some little things to get this all together! Creating the quiz, promoting, collecting the data, making images, writing these posts.... it all takes time, hope you enjoy!

I'll be writing/announcing each post in the next couple of hours (or however long it takes me), so please give me some time, but each post will be done separately.

Hey @AgeOfEmpires you forgot something, fixed it for you:
