Finally my eurorack case is done. Here are a couple of pictures with the original design next to it. It was not easy, lots of work, lots of mistakes, but in the end I'm really happy how it turns out.
Oil & wax mix is applied to the wood and it's looking pretty gorgeous. PSU and distribution rails are in place and working. I still have the rails and the lighting to install ... It's getting closer to be a usable case now!

Some big progress this week-end with the assembly of the case. Still a lot of work to do, sanding, wiring everything, placing rails, oiling the wood ... And btw, the baby weights 23.1 Kg
Lots of things happens since last post. Main issue : Multiline beech is a massive pain to handle, I had to redo everything that is not side panels. Now, I'm using tri pli multiline beech and it's a complete different story, awesome.
Here are some pictures of today's session.
First part of the hardware received for the monster case project : The rails ( 6 X 168HP with threaded inserts ). Next step is to find some decent wood for the case (probably some glued laminated wood - Glulam).
Next project is a massive custom case. I already got a first version of the design as you can see : size is 168HP, 18U. Rails are ordered. I will post pics as it will come along ...
