However, the full video clearly contradicts this allegation and reveals the reality: protesters are assaulting security forces, while the Observatory continues to spread misinformation.

نحن أبناء الشعب السوري، نتابع بقلق بالغ ما يُعرض في برنامجكم “ساعة حوار”، والذي تحول – للأسف – من منبر للحوار الجاد إلى مساحة للتضليل والانحياز، لا سيما عند تناول الشأن السوري.

لقد لاحظنا تعمّد المذيعة ريم بو قمرة تقديم محتوى يدعم ميليشيا “قسد” الانفصالية، متجاهلةً بشكل صارخ سياسة المملكة العربية السعودية الثابتة في دعم وحدة الأراضي السورية ورفض كل مشاريع التقسيم. كما وردت تسريبات عن تلقيها دعمًا ماليًا ضمن حملة إعلامية مشبوهة تمولها “قسد” من موارد ومآسي الشعب السوري.

بناءً عليه، نطالب إدارتكم باحترام القضية السورية ووقف استضافة أو تقديم أي مادة إعلامية تخصنا ضمن هذا البرنامج، الذي لا يخدم الحقيقة ولا يمثل صوت الشعب السوري، بل يشوهه.

Tariq Al-Shoufi, from the town of Kfar Brie in Sweida, is the commander of the Military Council in Sweida and one of the criminal leaders under Hikmat Al-Hajri, a remnant of the former regime. He manages the battles in the town of Qanawat. The council also includes several criminal officers of the former regime, including Brigadier General Al-Shaarani, who committed massacres in Saydnaya.

One of the key figures in the so-called “Military Council” in Suwayda — and a leader of Hikmat al-Hijri’s militias — is Brigadier General Samer al-Shaarani, a former officer in Assad’s criminal army and the former director of the Qatana region in the Damascus countryside.

International reports and verified videos have shown the existence of mass graves containing the bodies of detainees tortured to death in Saydnaya Prison.

This sends a clear message about why Hikmat al-Hijri refuses any agreement with the state. If such an agreement were made, these crimes would be exposed, and those responsible would face justice — something they clearly want to avoid. Syria still has hundreds of thousands of missing people, many of whom are believed to be buried in mass graves whose locations remain unknown. Yet this warlord is hiding in Suwayda, refusing to be held accountable, and fighting to the bitter end so that no information can be extracted from him.

Assad’s generals continue to show just how psychopathic and bloodthirsty they are. Decades of war, torture, and bloodshed haven’t satisfied them — they are still destroying what’s left of Syria. Now, they’re pretending to be victims and framing this as a fight against the Druze.

But here’s the question: Does being Druze give a warlord immunity?
That’s something only Hikmat al-Hijri can answer.

One of the leaders of the Military Council in Suwayda and a prominent figure in Hikmat al-Hijri’s militia is Brigadier General Samer al-Shaarani — a criminal officer in Assad’s army who previously served as the Director of the Qutayfah area in rural Damascus, where mass graves of detainees tortured to death were discovered.

It is important to emphasize that a large number of remnants of the defunct Assad regime are currently in Suwayda, fighting alongside the terrorist militias of al-Hijri.

Hikmat al-Hijri, the leader of a Druze terrorist group, is appointing former regime officers—those responsible for massacres against innocent civilians—to lead a campaign against children and Bedouin civilians. Horrific crimes reported by Bedouin Sunni families after attacks by Israel-backed al-Hijri militias in Suwayda.

A father says his 2-year-old son was killed, wife murdered, daughter Rawan severely injured and traumatized.

Rawan saw a child beheaded, crawled in fear, nearly took her own life.

Survivors say homes were raided, people shot at directly. 4 young men from one family still missing.

Locals call the situation tragic and brutal.

I don't know.

- They shot at us while we were in the mosque.

How were you feeling?

I don't know, I was stunned and shocked. Then I heard the sound of a car coming.

I looked at my mother and found her head severed from her body. While trying to save her, snipers targeted her and fired mortar shells at them.

One of the shells fell near the house.

How are you feeling now?

I have pain in my legs, and I'll have surgery in a few days.
