Your death will come in an ordinary day, in the middle of unfinished plans, and the world will continue without you almost as if you never existed... 🍃
How strange and foolish is man?
He loses his health in gaining wealth.
Then, to regain his health he wastes his wealth.
He ruins his present while worrying about his future, but weeps in the future by recalling his past.
He lives as though death shall never come to him, but dies in a way as if he were never born.
This is emotional deflection dressed up as piety — and a textbook strawman.
Nobody disputes compassion for civilians. Mocking victims is obviously wrong. The problem is I never did it, so you're swinging at an argument I didn't make.
My post didn't celebrate Lebanese suffering. It asked one straightforward question: did Hezbollah's decade-long investment in propping up Assad hollow out its own defenses and leave southern Lebanon exposed?
Based on what we can all now see — tanks across the Litani, Beaufort taken for the first time since 2000 — the answer is yes.
That isn't gloating. It's basic causality (cause & effect). Armies that pour blood and treasure into foreign wars for a rotten cause tend to pay for it at home.
The real gloating is pretending those wasted Syrian years bought Muslims — or even Lebanese Shia — anything at all.
Now let's talk about this sudden, mandatory compassion that Daniel and his like keep ranting about.
Where was it when Assad and Hezbollah spent over a decade slaughtering Syrians? Many of the same voices now demanding solidarity cheered, or went conveniently silent, while Sunnis were gassed and starved.
Now that the group that enabled that is taking losses, criticism is suddenly haram?
What's actually haram is shielding malevolent, incompetent actors from the consequences of their own choices.
Genuine solidarity doesn't mean immunity for the leadership that dragged Lebanon here.
It means accountability for everyone harming Muslims — Assad, the Iranian proxies that backed him, Khawarij, and Israeli aggression alike.
So spare me the "actual Muslims" gatekeeping. Strategic honesty isn't betrayal of the ummah. It's the bare minimum of taking Muslim lives seriously.
And the question still stands, and you still haven't answered it:
Was backing Assad worth it?
It's a very simple answer:
Y/N?
Actual Muslims help defend Muslims who are being genocided by Jews.
They don't mock victims and gloat over their suffering.
Were Israel to carry out a genocide in Syria, the appropriate response would be aiding the Syrians and expressing compassion for them - not mocking their shortcomings.
@kashur_wanderer No, we don't kiss the hands of our leader.
We don't erect statues of him.
We don't engage in human-worship.
We make Duaa for him and wish him all the best and we hear and we obey him as long as he hears and obeys Allah.
And that's just about it.
No over-glorification!

📌 The Rejection Comes Due to the Ambassador's "Ideological Background"
Syrian Media:

✅️ Strengthening the authority of the central state and imposing greater centralization in the governance of the country.
✅️ Restricting weapons to the state and its official institutions only.
✅️ Dealing with the Syrian and Iraqi issues as a single interconnected regional vision, rather than as two separate issues.”
Trump raged at Netanyahu on the phone today:
"You are completely crazy. You would be in jail if it weren't for me.
I'm saving your ass.
Everyone hates you now. Everyone hates Israel because of this. What the hell are you doing?"

Mr. Prime Minister,
You said that a strong prime minister tells the President of the United States 'yes' when possible, and 'no' when necessary.
Now is the time to say to our friend, President Trump, 'no.'
Now is the time to do what is required and necessary to strike Hezbollah, to free the hands of our fighters, and to restore security to the north.
Syrian airspace recorded about 12,000 flights in May after airlines changed their routes to avoid conflict zones in the Middle East.
The shift is considered profitable for Syria after it raised fees imposed on airlines earlier this year.
Air traffic generated revenues of up to $5.9 million for airspace crossing last month, based on fixed fees of $499 per flight.
