Welp, I didn't expect that much interactions from my previous tweet.
Welcome to all newcomers: thanks for your follow, I am an avid ttrpg player who dabbles in game design, reads a lot, and tries to help new players stop reinventing the wheel. (1/4)
@BuzziEdoardo Oh no, it's not your fault, it's everybody's credit!
That's a standard first session of AW if you uphold your Agenda, Principles and Moves to a T. So yeah, you did great!
Please don't make me fight about bleed today, I am too tired to explain the same argument about it being a neutral studied phenomenon that can in fact be helpful, fun, emancipatory or interesting. Please instead have this list.

@aurora_astarion I don't think that bleed dynamics should be avoided at all costs and in every case. Nor I see any problems when they write some lines about how to maximize the experience.
I'd be more concerned if that's all there is, and no safety tools are involved and explained in the writing.
Reminder that the basic thing you're entitled to is at least a thorough session 0.
There you can discuss if you really want to constantly ask what your own character can do during play, to the player sitting behind the screen, or if you better not sit at that table at all.
@WondrousAtlas Regarding Disciplines, I basically made a Move for every Power up to the 5th dot, with some exceptions (some were plain boring, or just incrementals on previous dots, so some reworkings were needed).
This should give them the needed crunchiness Undying didn't have.
@WondrousAtlas I now realize I have to fetch and read Avatar Legends because it might very well be a good assist on how to treat Disciplines (and magic powers in general).
For now I just treated them as Moves, tied to the Clan, which is something you choose during Character creation.
So it's very much still a work in progress, but I'm going to write some about:
The Prince
The Steward
The Idealist
The Cult Leader
The Stranger
The Scholar
The Shadow Broker
More are incoming, but lack a working title. Planning for it to be done by new year's eve.
So I went with archetypes, and that also helped me with better understanding what CC is ultimately about - the status quo.
How you uphold it, how you tear it down, how you navigate it.
That, you can do from every Clan's perspective.
#PoweredbytheBlood is growing up nicely. Writing down the MC secion gave me a deeper understanding of #PbtA s, which I put in words the best I can to facilitate first time viewers and long time DnD players.
Also, it has a new name, and it's now called #CrimsonChronicles.
So, I've been away from this waXteland for quite the time, but I've been working.
I am still alive, though. A small 🧵about what is going on here on my side of the screen, for those who care.
I'm being hosted by #5DragonsCollective on #Twitch, mainly to talk about RPG theory and what exists and flourishes outside of the #DnD-(annihiliation)sphere. Once a month for now, likely becoming every other week on sunday evening.
