We are continuing to develop our learning environments! The latest additions are our outdoor classroom and covered area outside Class 2. We can't wait for them to start being used by the children!
Last Friday we celebrated the Kingβs Coronation with a picnic and garden games. Thank you to all who attended. This week the Year 6 children completed their SATs. Well done to all Year 6 children, you should all be proud! Have a great weekend everybody.
So, that concludes our Spring term! We've had a lovely day doing the Easter Egg hunt organised by the PTFA (thank you!) and finishing with our Values Service down at the church. We wish you all a lovely Easter break. We look forward to welcoming everyone back on Monday 17th April
Class 3 have been busy working on their light up European landmarks. This unit of work tied together the Science learning about electricity β‘οΈand the Geography learning about Europe. They have shown brilliant team work to complete their light up models!

Following their visit to the Gurdwara as part of their learning in RE, Class 3 have written some thank you letters to the volunteers at the Gurdwara. βοΈ
The children dressed up as Where's Wally for World Book Day yesterday - they looked amazing! Activities throughout the day included a WBD Quiz in house groups, a visit to the park for a fun run and a book quote scavenger hunt.

Our Key Stage 2 corridor has had a refurb!βοΈβοΈWe are delighted with the transformation which has made the corridor feel a lot brighter and also pays a lovely tribute to our new house groups: Spitfire, Lancaster, Typhoon and Wellington.

Sywell Church will be holding a Christmas Tree Festival on Saturday 10th 12pm-4pm. Please do take a look at our Forest School themed Christmas tree. Mulled wine, mince pies and other refreshments will be in the Village Hall 2pm-4pm.
Last Friday we had our Tree Planting Event. The children and parents had great fun planting trees, making bird feeders, practising weaving and drinking hot chocolate!

We are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of HRH Queen Elizabeth II. In school today, we will show our respect and reflect on her life and service with a whole school silence at the end of break time, sharing a prayer and singing during Celebration Worship.
