@ku05130593 @amjonno Has to be coming from somebody who has never played the sport. A sport where the weather conditions, pitch conditions, parts of a ball, colour of a ball, view in the background, time of the day etc etc plays into the tactics and strategies of each individual within a team game

@AGrueller Surely you understand that somebody above CG has to sign off both the transfer fee and the wages? Part of CG job is to find the players, sell them to CD and then pass on the finer details to the CEO etc.

@PonsonbyHarry Lagos is a lovely place. Not as lively as Albufiera tho. Lagos is about 20 mins from Portimao so wouldn’t surprise me if they play Portimonense or it’s only about 40 mins from the stadium in faro, same as last year:

@bluelight058698 @JoshBCFC_ Tbf he looked quality on the ball against us. Busy and always looking for pockets to pick up the ball. Similar to Paik. Sadly we don’t find Paik half the time so we probably wouldn’t find him either

@tommyshuffle1 @KieranMaguire Not sure if I’m right on that actually having just seen Kieran’s graphs. Wrexham paying out on average 19k week wages. Wow, you must have been paying some big dollar in league 2.

@tommyshuffle1 @KieranMaguire Think you’re forgetting we came from years in the championship where players were relegated on big wages and you came from league 2 with players on probably 5k a week.

The figures don’t read well but I would think it’s the same for most championship clubs

@nickblues1875 OMG I’m seeing people say Paik was poor. Was he great no, but my god he was by far one of our better performers. Doyle was bag average however when you play centre mid you are relying on movement all around the pitch. There was Nout off the ball. Static. Players know CD is gone

@RyanDeeney2194 Need him. Doyle and Paik are too similar and are caught deep and don’t pick enough 2nd balls. We miss Solis. Roberts and Osman aren’t getting the ball in the areas to hurt the oppo. Duksch has got something but he just doesn’t get on the ball or then use the ball like a 10 should

@RyanDeeney2194 Personally feel that was one of if not our poorest home performance. Beadle should have been MOTM for the 3/4 saves. Their keeper had 1? Some were solid and Paik tried to play but the rest were bang average. Jay works too hard (sounds stupid I know) but then isn’t where we….

@TheS_Resource All depends on what time they get there and how often they are late otherwise you’re setting a precedent for turning up late and saying it’s ok. If it’s odd occasion fine, if they arrive in time to warm up fine, they play.
